Bungsegwon: Merge Puzzle

Taiyaki merge game tips: how to play Bungsegwon

Bungsegwon is a drop-and-merge physics puzzle. Two matching taiyaki become a bigger piece when they touch. A useful first habit is to think about both the piece you are dropping and the space you will need for the next one.

1. Look for a matching piece before you drop

Slide your finger to choose a landing spot, then release. Matching pieces need to touch: another treat between them can stop an immediate merge. Check the next-piece preview as well. You are planning a small sequence of moves, rather than only finding a place for the current piece.

2. Leave a little breathing room

You do not need to fill every gap the moment it appears. An open space can give a future matching piece a route into the board. Watch the height across the whole pile, especially if one side is growing much faster. Letting the pieces settle can make your next decision easier to read.

3. Read the stage goal before chasing a combo

Campaign stages ask you to complete goals such as orders and scores. A rising score does not necessarily mean every order is finished. Check the goals and remaining dough at the top, then look for a merge that helps the unfinished task. After a clear, check your stars and rewards; you can replay a stage to improve your record.

4. Choose a tool that fits the problem

A next-piece swap and your shop tools can change a difficult situation. First identify what is wrong: are you missing a useful piece, or is its path blocked? Tools have different effects and conditions. Read the in-game description and remaining uses before spending one.

Try one change at a time

For your first rounds, making one larger treat is a useful goal. In the next round, focus on leaving space; after that, try making a more deliberate tool choice. This makes it easier to see which decision helped. The online weekly tournament is a separate challenge shared by iOS and Android players, with 20 drops and a limit of three minutes. Read its rules before starting.
